The Story Behind
J. Hofmann Homes and Design
Some of my earliest memories are playing on construction sites. As the daughter of an interior designer and entrepreneur, I grew up watching my parents transform a Federal-style house built in 1832, a 10-year labor of love that eventually earned a place on the National Register of Historic Places. Those formative years taught me that creating a beautiful home requires vision, persistence, and extraordinary attention to detail.
Since graduating from Indiana University, I've pursued my passion for design and construction, building 25+ years of experience in the industry. I've worked for multiple custom home builders and then started my own business over a decade ago. I’ve completed numerous projects of my own, and partnered with dozens of clients to bring their vision to life.
What sets J. Hofmann Homes, LLC apart is something I discovered through all those years of experience: the magic happens when design and construction work together from the very beginning. When one team handles both the renovation and the interior design, the result is a truly cohesive space, one that flows naturally from room to room and feels authentically like you.
